These are among the 15 programs that would be cut from the Healthy Michigan Fund under a budget proposal by Gov. Jennifer Granholm:

  • Alzheimer’s Information Network
  • Arthritis programs
  • Cardiovascular health
  • Dental programs
  • Early hearing detection and screening for newborns
  • Huntington’s disease
  • Infant mortality-nurse family partnership
  • Lead poisoning prevention
  • Michigan model for comprehensive school health
  • Morris Hood, Wayne State University diabetes outreach
  • Nutrition services for seniors
  • Osteoporosis
  • Parkinson’s disease
